Nice enough place but IMO the prices were a little high for what you got. The portions were small but the quality was good. The choices were a little limited, I think with Mexican food you could get a bit more variation than what was on offer. However, all the food that came was tasty, well prepared and enjoyed by everyone. The service was friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly. Nice choice of Mexican beers and very unique cocktails. Parking was a bit limited as it was only at street parking but at that time of night it was ok. We couldn't have the (boxed) birthday cake that we took due to it being food brought in from outside which was a shame but fair enough. Not sure if I'd go again but all in all, a unique experience.

Really nice hidden gem of a restaurant serving authentic Mexican cuisine. We arrived fairly early and the place was quiet, we didn't have a reservation but were seated with no hassle. However the place quickly filled up and pretty soon it was packed. In future we'd definitely book to be able to get a table, especially in peak times. The staff were chatty and friendly and service was quick. We had the Enchiladas De Res and Enchiladas De Mole Negra and shared a rice and tortilla chips and all I can say is the food was fantastic. The cocktails are also delicious and very reasonable at £. for a frozen margarita, so much so we had to have a few to take advantage.

Our first ever trip to Lupe’s after walking past it every day and wondering what’s in store, and safe to say we were not disappointed! We booked quite late on in the day and they made room for us at the bar (which was still lovely) but they are very busy (and rightly so) so I’d recommend booking in advance! Food and drinks were amazing, local beer and funky cocktails for a good price. Speedy service and great atmosphere. Will be back!

We love it at Lupe’s, we’ve been coming for a few years and are always left wondering why we don’t come more oftenInterior is fun and rustic, and I read that the owner built the bar by hand which is super cool!Staff are always very friendly and attentive even when it gets busy (which it frequently is!!)Everything we’ve tried has been delicious but our favourite by far is the Smokey rich beef enchiladas which are to die for.The cocktails are also amazing especially the spicy margs!Parking: A few spots outside the restaurant on the merchant’s yard, otherwise there’s street parking on residential streets nearby
